I did not find any errors in the formulas, but the notation and terminology are sometimes non-traditional. Instructors who are familiar with the American Statistical Association's Guidelines for Assessment and Instruction in Statistics Education (GAISE) will find this text appropriate for meeting the first three of six recommendations and all of the goals set out in this report.

Topics are well motivated and discussion usually includes useful diagrams or graphs when appropriate. The text includes the usual topics for a one-semester course in the same order as many introductory statistics texts.
